A 23-year-old pedestrian has died after he was struck by a car in County Tipperary.
The incident happened on the N24, Limerick to Waterford Road at Ballykisteen at around 8 o'clock last night.
The man, who is yet to be named, suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made and the road remains closed for a forensic examination.

Gardaí are also appealing for witnesses to come forward.
