Mullinavat Macra Na Feirme are holding a barbecue this evening in aid of Pieta House.
The event will feature live music and tasty food and will take place in Irish's bar in Knocktopher.
There will also be talks about mental health from Caroline Clifford from Kilkenny GAA and the "Washing Machine man" Enda Doherty.
Joseph Wall from Mullinavat Macra told Beat why they chose the suicide prevention charity
"The reason we chose Pieta House is because of their new centre in Waterford city. It's the first in the South East and we feel they could use the support.
"They say it costs €1000 for someone who's stuggling with mental health issues to get through the system so we felt the money should go to a good cause like helping those people."
