Motorists are being warned to take extra care on the roads this morning after sub-zero temperatures returned to some parts of the country overnight.
The mercury dropped to minus 3 degrees in places, leading to frost and icy stretches.
A status yellow low-temperature warning from Met Eireann remains in place until 10 o'clock across the region.
