Love Island this summer has been cancelled for the first time ever due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ITV2 dating show has been pulled from the summer schedule after bosses confirmed that the virus poses too big a risk.
Show bosses have said they tried to find alternatives but it wasn't logistically possible.
Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV, said: "We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority."
Fans of the show already got their fix this year, with the first ever winter series, which saw Paige Turley and Finley Tapp crowned winners.
