A housing report published by Daft today sees a rise in house prices in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Waterford and South Tipperary.
The first half of 2017 saw an average 8.8% rise in housing prices nationwide, whilst in the second half, prices saw almost no change in the average price.
In the South- East, Carlow prices have increased the most by 11.4% to an average of €174,046.
Meanwhile, the lowest rise in the region was in Tipperary with a 5% rise (average household cost €159,515).
Waterford saw a rise of 6.9%, Kilkenny 7.3% and Wexford 9.1%
