Join us for an expert-led Leaving Certificate Art History Revision Day with Aine Andrews (Ni Chartaigh), author of the bestselling Less Stress More Success Art History.
Attendees will benefit from a full day of expert advice on approaching the Art History Leaving Cert Paper, focusing on all aspects of the exam including the Irish Art, European Art and Appreciation Sections. It's a great opportunity for both senior cycle students and teachers to gain insight from one of Ireland's leading experts in the subject, Aine Andrews (Ni Chartaigh).
Aine Andrews worked as an art teacher in Gaelcholaiste Choilm Ballincollig Cork for over 25 years and is author of the bestselling Less Stress More Success Art History. She recently co-authored a new textbook Appreciating Art History for Leaving Cert with Aidan O'Sullivan for Gill and Macmillan. She retired in 2013 but continues to work with art classes in her own local area of Crosshaven. She is an active member of the Association of Art Teachers of Ireland of which she was President for two years. She also represented the Association for several years on the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) art course committee to develop a new Leaving Cert Syllabus. In 2000 she was awarded a Schoolteacher Fellowship from Trinity College Dublin for study and research, affiliated to the Art History Department.
