Learner driver has car seized in Carlow after not turning on lights

Gardaí in Co. Carlow have seized a car from a learner driver.

While on patrol, Carlow Roads Policing Unit stopped a Red Toyota Yaris because the motorist was driving with no lights on in the dark.

Upon further inspection, officers discovered that the learner was driving unaccompanied without a full licensed driver.

Gardaí seized the car and proceedings are to follow.
