Both objectors in Waterford's North Quays development have withdrawn their objections.
That comes as a hearing on the development of the North Quays is underway in Treacy's Hotel in Waterford City today.
There were previously two valid objections to the proposal to the project.
Speaking on his local radio programme Deise Today, City Manager Michael Walsh welcomed the decision by the objectors and says the development will be a gamechanger for Waterford.
He said sending out the right message to future potential investors is key:
The hearing today will give participants the opportunity to ask questions or seek clarification on submissions made at the hearing.
On completion, the inspector will prepare a report and recommendation and the decision to grant or refuse permission will be made by the Board.
