The IDA's Regional Manager for the South East has been promoted to Head of Regional Business Development for all of Ireland.
Kilkenny native, Anne-Marie Tierney-Le Roux, took up the South East position two years ago.
Earlier today, Ms Tienery welcomed the announcement of 200 new jobs by IQ Pharmatek in Clonmel.
She confirmed this region will still be her responsibility and will be to the fore in her new role.
She also told Beat News they are now dealing with a new environment with the Trump and Brexit factors.
"We are seeing how these are playing out", commented Ms Tierney.
Still, the Kilkenny native noted that inquiry rates from foreign companies looking to invest in Ireland been not affected by this instability.
"We just need to be firm in our approach in dealing with the attractiveness of Ireland to multination[als]", she concluded.
