One of the most loved figures in Irish music, Kilkenny's Willie Meighan has passed away aged 48 following a battle with cancer.
The 48-year-old succumbed to the illness at home this morning while surrounded by his family and his newlywed wife, Aisling.
So sad to hear about my friend and Rollercoaster Records boss Willie Meighan.
I've never met anyone who oozed so much good vibrations. He had 'the glow'.
Thoughts and love to Aisling, Willie's family and all his many, many friends.
Rest in peace bhoy.

The proprietor of the 'happiest little record store in the world', Willie founded Kilkenny's only record label, Rollercoaster Records label a little over 12 months ago.
