Kilkenny Castle is opening tonight for the first in a summer series of outdoor cinema.
The first screening of the summer is 1970’s romantic comedy Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
Organisers are advising people to bring something warm, something to sit on and a picnic to enjoy.
There is a leave no trace policy at all Happenings events, if you bring, you take home.
The Kilkenny Design Centre, across from the entrance to the park is selling special cinema goodie-bags.
Tickets are available from the ticket desk at Kilkenny Castle from 8.30pm when the gates open.
