Kilkenny and Gorey are two of the cleanest places in the country.
Latest figures from the Irish Business Against Litter show the two locations are in 8th and 12th spot in the ranking of 40 towns and cities.
Waterford City Centre, Tipperary and Ballybeg have all been awarded Clean status- with Carlow being named as Moderately littered.
The study shows there has been a sharp fall of litter black spots across the country and a huge improvement in cities in particular.
