A Jack Russell from Waterford is recovering from a ruff long weekend following a dramatic cliff side rescue.
The pooch prompted a search and rescue operation when she fell a terrifying 22 metres from the cliffs at Annestown, Co. Waterford on St. Patrick's Day.
Seven members of Tramore's Cliff & Rescue team were soon on site to descend the cliff face and return Josie back to her grateful owner, Hayley Flood.
Speaking to Beat, Tramore Cliff & Mountain Rescue member Chris Murray said: "The members had just returned home from participating in the Tramore St Patrick's Day Parade when we received the call."
Two members of the team descended the cliff, and together with the five team members on the cliff top, they brought the dog back to safety", he continued.
Amazingly, Josie took the fall in her stride and was only delighted to be reunited with her owner!
