Bank Holiday travellers visiting Donegal, Dublin, Cork and Waterford over the next few days will be able to chance their luck in Ireland’s highest winning National Lottery shop.
Ahead of tonight’s €150 million EuroMillions jackpot, players nationwide will be hoping to tap into the good fortune of Ireland’s luckiest retailers to become Ireland’s biggest EuroMillions jackpot winner ever.
Top of the list of luckiest retailers is An Post in the G.P.O in Dublin City centre which has sold a massive 14 jackpot and top prize winning tickets worth a total of €15,054,036 since the National Lottery started.
Second is O’Neills Newsagents in Brigend, Lifford, Co Donegal which has had 12 Jackpot winners totally €4,993,195. Coming in third is Hickey’s of Skibbereen in Co Cork with nine Jackpots of €€7,860,445.
And Donegal features again at no. four on the list with McKenna’s Texaco in Muff scoring nine wins totally €6,123,283.
Pearse O’Neill, owner of O’Neills Newsagent in Bridgend, said: “We are all very proud of the fact that we are one of the luckiest National Lottery shops in Ireland.
