Ireland has the third-highest quality of life in the world, according to a new UN study.
Topping the list of 189 countries is Norway followed by Switzerland.
The rankings are based on health, income and education.
The average life expectancy in Ireland is just over 82 years of age, while the gross national income is slightly more than 55 thousand euro.
