Update at 15:10: The victim of the assault as above man who died yesterday has been named as Agnius Naumovas.
Investigations are continuing after a man with head injuries died in Waterford.
The eastern European man in his 20's died after he was found with serious head injuries on Margaret's Avenue in the city on Christmas Day.
He was taken to Waterford University Hospital but died Wednesday evening.

A man in his 40's has been released without charge following his arrest yesterday.
