An investigation is underway after a baby boy was hospitalised in Dublin after an incident in Tipperary on Thursday night.
The child was transferred to Dublin from the village of Horse and Jockey near Thurles, after suffering what appears to be a serious head injury.
Gardai say they have launched an inquiry into how the child was injured, and the child and family agency 'Tusla' has been notified.
