Gardaí were today informed of an object which was found in a Wexford housing estate.
The item is being treated as suspicious, with a number of houses evacuated in the area.
There are diversions in place, with O'Leary road closed on both ends.
Road users are being advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
I understand the bomb squad are involved in this incident and may relate to an old WWII era bomb that turned up in fishing nets and was placed in a garden as an ornament. #Wexford pic.twitter.com/Q3bgMfnTrZ
