The hotel industry in Kilkenny is bracing itself for a Brexit storm.
That's according to the latest hotel barometer from the Irish Hotels Federation.
Tourism currently supports 4,300 jobs in Kilkenny and contributes some €108m to the local economy each year.
Colin Aherne is General Manager of the Ormonde Hotel in Kilkenny City and speaking to Beat news he says plans are already being put in place to tackle a no deal Brexit scenario.
The plans include more spending on advertising and marketing to showcase Kilkenny as a top destination for visitors from across the globe.
