The body of a homeless man was found in Waterford City late last week.
The 48-year-old man was found dead on a footpath in the Grange Cohan housing estate at 8am last Thursday.
Gardai say they are not treating the death as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
The homeless charity Focus Ireland has a service based in the Grange Cohan estate and they sent their condolences to the family of the man.
