One of the greatest authors in history, Harper Lee, has died at the age of 89.
Lee is best known as the author of To Kill A Mockingbird, which is regarded as a classic in literature and is studied in schools across Ireland.
To Kill a Mockingbird was Lee's only published book until Go Set a Watchman was published last July.
She was born in Alabama in 1926.
