Gardaí will use a number of cadaver dogs in their search of the woodland near the area where JoJo Dullard went missing in November of 1995.
The dogs that will be used are specially trained by a private individual based in Ireland who provides the canines to a number of organisations involved in land and water searches including the Gardaí.
The Mail on Sunday reports that expert sources have said that a body is buried on average 29 inches from where the victim was murdered and these dogs will cover 'a lot of ground' in a day.
The area of wood being searched is just a ten minute drive from where Dullard went missing.
The 21 year old from County Kilkenny was last seen at a phone box in Moone, in County Kildare and her case is being treated as a murder investigation.
While this search will hopefully be completed relatively quickly, Gardaí do not expect the same for the other search operation in the Taggartstown area of Kildare that is being conducted as part of their continuing probe into the disappearances of Deirdre Jacob and Annie McCarrick as well as JoJo Dullard. It's reported that this search may take months due to the work involved in clearing vegetation and taking off the top layers of soil.
