The M8 is currently closed in Tipp after two separate crashes this evening.
Heavy rainfall across the South East this evening has resulted in difficult driving conditions with Gardai issuing a number of warnings about conditions.
The M8 is closed between J6 Thurles and J7 Cashel North due to a crash, according to AA Roadwatch.

This follows an earlier crash which had been cleared, although heavy delays were reported.

There are reports of a number of people taken to hospital following the crash.

AA Roadwatch has also reported difficult driving conditions on the N11.
