Gardai in the Carlow/Kilkenny division have seized drugs worth up to €300,000.
At around 5:30pm yesterday, Gardai searched a house in the Newpark area of Kilkenny city, where cocaine with an estimated street value of €200,000 was seized.
Gardai also seized cannabis herb valued at €100,000 during the search of the house.
A man in his 50s has been arrested and is being held at Kilkenny Garda Station.
