Gardaí in Kilkenny had quite the unusual call out today.
A car parked on the train tracks caused delays earlier this afternoon on the Waterford to Dublin line.
13.15 Heuston/Waterford & 14.50 Waterford/Heuston delayed due to a vehicle parked on Dunbell level crossing. Gardai are on route. -AD

Irish Rail reported the incident which delayed their 1:15pm service from Dublin to Waterford and their 2:50pm Waterford to Dublin train
Someone had left their car parked on the level crossing at Dunbell just north of Kilkenny City.
Gardaí were called to remove it and Irish Rail services have now resumed as normal.
