Gardaí in County Kilkenny are investigating an assault which took place on Tuesday evening.
A man was attacked from behind and sustained injuries to his face - his phone was also stolen.
The incident happened in Belline Close in Piltown.
The suspect is described as having black hair, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information is asked to Gardaí in Mooncoin.
