Gardaí have attended the scene of a public order incident that occurred on Upper John Street, Kilkenny in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 4am.
An altercation occurred between approximately five people.
No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.

A bladed instrument was recovered at the scene and seized by Gardaí.
Investigations are on-going.
