A man has died in a workplace incident in Waterford earlier today.
He was working on a car that rolled off a hoist causing him serious head and chest injuries.
The incident happened in Newtown in Kilmacthomas shortly after 11.30am this morning.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Garda investigation into the incident has been launched.
