Gardai were forced to close the M8 for a time this evening when cattle were found grazing along the side of the motorway.
The closure occurred between the Dunkettle Interchange and Watergrasshill in Cork.

The road was closed for a short time while the Gardai removed a "large number of cows" and has since reopened.
