Four people have died in a collision between a lorry and a car in Co Wexford this evening.
The collision happened at around 6.30pm on the N25 New Ross to Ballinaboule road at Begern.
Gardai have confirmed that three men and a woman in the car were killed and pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood that some of the victims were American tourists.
The driver of the lorry and a passenger in the lorry were uninjured in the collision.
The road is now closed from New Ross to Ballinaboola, and will remain closed for most of the evening.
Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.
