A man remains in Garda custody this morning, following a drugs seizure in Kilkenny yesterday.
Gardaí stopped a car just outside the city, at Templemartin, and discovered €500,000 worth of cannabis.
Black sacks full of the drug were seized and the man was arrested and taken to Kilkenny Garda Station.
He can be held for up to 7 days.
