Gardaí charge three men in relation to incident in Monerymore

Gardaí investigating an incident in Monerymore have charged three men.

Four men, all in their 20s, were arrested yesterday in relation to the incident.

The three men are expected to appear before a sitting of Drogheda District Court later this morning.

Gardaí are continuing to detain the fourth man at Dundalk Garda Station, where he can be held for 72 hours.
