Gardaí in Tramore attended a road traffic collision on Tuesday, 9th August 2022 in the Ballinattin area of Co.Waterford.
The collision occurred at approximately 5.30pm and involved a pedestrian and a car. The car failed to remain at the scene.
The pedestrian, a male in his teens was taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A man in his 20s was later arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained under Section 13 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997 at Tramore Garda Station.
