Gardaí appeal for witnesses following assault at McDonagh Train Station

Gardaí are investigating a report of an assault at McDonagh Train Station in Kilkenny yesterday evening.

The incident happened at 7.30pm where a man in his 20s was approached by two men.

He was assaulted and sustained a cut under his eye and a swollen jaw.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the attack to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.
