Alison Canavan wants to Get the South East Growing.
The Author Wellness Coach has teamed up with GIY and Energia for the "Energia Get Ireland Growing" Campaign.
Community groups and voluntary organisations can apply for a share of the 70,000 euro fund.
The deadline for application is January 20th - with awards ranging from 500 to 2,000 euro.

Alison told Beat News, "it's going to be split into three categories, 'Sow', 'Grow' and 'Harvest'.
With this money they'll support about 85 community food growing groups from across the country which I think is just absolutely brilliant."
