Met Eireann has issued a fresh status yellow wind warning for Wexford.
The forecaster says Storm Franklin will continue, bringing strong winds and severe gusts to Wicklow and Wexford until midday.
Thousands of homes and businesses including in Wexford, Tipperary, Waterford and Kilkenny are without power following strong winds overnight.
A nationwide status yellow alert will come to an end at 9am, but the alert for Wexford is valid until midday.
