A 16 year old girl has died following a single vehicle crash yesterday evening.
Gardaí are investigating the crash that happened on Cliff Road, Newtown, Tramore, Co. Waterford at 8.20 last night.
The teenager suffered fatal injuries when the car she was travelling in as a passenger struck a wall.
She was taken to to University Hospital Waterford and passed away late last night, a post mortem is due to be carried out later.
Two other passengers, a female and male, both aged 17 years, suffered serious injuries and were also removed to University Hospital Waterford.
The male driver of the car, 17 years, received minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital Waterford.
The road is currently closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
