Crews from three separate fire stations in Waterford city had to be called to control a large house fire earlier this morning.
Two part-time crews and a full-time crew from the city were all on hand to battle a large blaze that engulfed a house in Ballymacaw, Dunmore East at around 1:20am.
Tramore and a city crew were called to assist the Dunmore East unit, with Gardaí and fire fighters still on the scene with the blaze now contained.
No injuries have been reported following the incident however the fire caused extensive damage to the house.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
