One person was brought to University Hospital Waterford following a fire at a Waterford Hotel this morning.
The fire at the Marina Hotel in Canada Street has now been extinguished.
Waterford City Fire Service were alerted at approximately 7.55am.
Two crews were despatched to the scene and breathing aparatus teams located one casualty who was removed to University Hospital Waterford.

The fire was confined to a bedroom with limited amount of smoke damage to other parts of the hotel. There were no other casualties and the fire was contained very quickly.
