Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N25 at Bawnard, Ardmore, Waterford in the early hours of this morning.
A man in his twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene when his car collided with a lorry.
The male lorry driver was brought to University Hospital Waterford where his injuries are thought to be non-life threatening.
The road is closed is closed for the Garda Forensic Collision team.
