A new survey has found that Carlow is one of the cheapest places in Ireland to go to the cinema.
The cost of two tickets on a Saturday night with two medium popcorns and drinks works out at €33.60 in the county, just 20c more expensive than Roscommon which is the cheapest in the country.
The survey by the Irish Daily Mail found that the average cost is €40.
However in one cinema in Dublin that could rise to nearly €100 if you fancy some treats to go with your 3D IMAX movie.
