Fáilte Ireland announce funding for festivals in the South East

Over €83,000 in funding has been announced for festivals in the South East.

It's part of Fáilte Ireland's 2017 Regional Festivals & Participative Events Programme.

In total, 29 festivals in the South East are to receive funding as part of the programme.

Waterford is to receive the most with €35,000

Wexford is getting €22,000

Carlow has been allocated €19,500

with Kilkenny receiving €8,000 and Tipperary getting €7,000
