David McLoughlin, CEO, National Opera House, said: “This greatly appreciated investment will go a long way towards modernising our processes and systems, enabling us to further focus on promoting the rich variety of performances staged here throughout the entire year, in addition to the annual Wexford Festival Opera.

“Our primary aim is to encourage more people to visit and enjoy the National Opera House – our collaborative partnerships with local businesses are central to achieving this aim. This renewed partnership with Datapac enables us to not just maintain our state-of-the-art facilities, but to truly innovate. This level of support is absolutely essential to the international acclaim we receive as the ‘best small Opera House in the world.’”

Karen O’Connor, general manager, Datapac, said: “Datapac has been a supporter of the National Opera House for more than a decade and has seen the venue make a tremendous impact in the South East region throughout that time. Having a world-class amenity, making quality arts and entertainment available in the South East, is essential to regional quality of life. This helps Wexford-based businesses like Datapac attract the best talent to work and live in the area.”
