Emergency services at the scene of road traffic collision in Tipperary

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on the M8 Southbound.

The incident took place between Junction 11 Cahir (South) and Junction 12 Mitchelstown (North) this afternoon.

The road is full closed in both lanes southbound with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are urging people to avoid the area as there is a long back up on the motorway causing delays.
