Emergency services are dealing with a fire in Waterford

Three units of Waterford Fire Service, along with the Gardaí are dealing with a fire in the city.

Emergency services were notified that a car was on fire on the top floor of the Aldi carpark in the The Glen, and the supermarket was evacuated.

Traffic access to The Glen has been heavily restricted, Penrose Lane is currently closed and there is no access from Bridge Street.

It's not yet known if there are any injuries.
