Elon Musk is on track to become the world's first-ever trillionaire and we can’t say we are surprised, can we?
Currently worth an astronomical $263 billion (€238 billion), the 50-year-old could be the first to reach the trillionaires club very soon.
With an annual average wealth increase of 129%, he could quite possibly enter the uber-exclusive club in just two short years.
In a study conducted by approve.com, it’s been concluded that Musk’s net worth could rise to $1.38 trillion (€1.25 trillion) by 2024. The study explains: "We analysed the net worth of the richest 30 people in the world according to Forbes and recorded the last six years of data from current standings back to 2017."
From this, they calculated who and at what age each billionaire would join the trillionaire club.
Tragically, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos will have to wait a further six years until he has access to this group. Bezos currently lies in 7th in the study’s chart.
