A landslide on the Italian holiday island of Ischia has killed at least eight people.
The country's infrastructure minister, Matteo Salvini says rescuers are working in difficult conditions to find several missing people.
Heavy rain and flooding caused many landslides in the town of Casamicciola Termehas and has destroyed buildings on the island which is off the coast of Naples.
Vehicles and personnel of the Coast Guard engaged in patrols at sea and on land following the bad weather that hit the island.
