€5,000 worth of cocaine has been seized in Waterford city.
Members of the Waterford Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search of an apartment in Canada House.
It follows exstensive surveillance and enquiries into the sale of controlled drugs in the city.
A 31-year-old man who was arrested - was later released - a file will be prepared for the DPP.
