Drugs worth almost €1 million found in Thurles

Gardaí from Thurles and other Garda districts in Tipperary have discovered drugs including heroin and cocaine with an approximate street value of €850,000.

One male was arrested and is being detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996 as amended in a Tipperary Garda station.

The discovery was made at a house at Reiska, Kilcommon, Thurles early this morning.
