Gardaí carried out a search at a house in Hughes Mills, Siur Island, Clonmel at approximately 5 pm yesterday.
During the course of the search, an estimated €5,000 worth of suspected ecstasy tablets were recovered.
A man in his 40s was arrested.
He was detained at Clonmel Garda station and has since been released.
